International Hockey Management President, Chris White, noted,
We are very excited for Artem, and expect him to have a fantastic career at Gustavus Adolphus. Artem is working extremely hard to make this dream come to fruition, and he has had his heart set on Gustavus for a couple months, now. After taking a tour of the school and hockey facilities, Artem felt a real connection to the campus and direction of the program. He has been fighting for years to prove people wrong, and now he has a wonderful opportunity to be part of a four-year process to achieve success. This is a great step in his development that we know he won't take for granted.
