IHM Client Johansson Earns Goalie of the Week Honors

by Chris White

In the month of November, International Hockey Management client, Isak Johansson, has been among the best in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC). Johansson, as the number one goaltender for the Utica Jr. Comets, has the team climbing up the standings. In 5 November starts, and 6 appearances, Johansson has recorded a 5-1 record. Moreover, his stats are shining: 1.81 Goals Against Average, .953 Save Percentage, while facing 214 shots on goal.

The Märsta, Sweden native still has one year remaining of junior eligibility, after the 2019-2020 season. His hot streak includes two 40+ Save performances, along with three others of 30+. His latest win, November 15 vs New Hampshire Monarchs, featured three-consecutive saves in the shootout to earn the victory (video on IHM social media: @intlhockeymgmt).

Congrats and continued success to Isak, as he continues to pursue an NCAA opportunity.
