International Hockey Management is proud to announce client, Joseph Wheeler, has re-signed with Bollnäs IS in Sweden's HockeyTrean. The 6'3, 205-pound High River, Alberta native will be in his second season with the club. The right shot forward was born September 3, 1999. Last season, Wheeler featured for both the A-team and J20, in the COVID-19-shortened campaigns. 

Wheeler spent three seasons in the Western States Hockey League, a Tier-II Junior A league in the US and Canada. Wheeler played for the Arizona Redhawks, Long Beach Bombers, Valencia Flyers, and Las Vegas Thunderbirds. In his final season, Wheeler was named an Assistant Captain for the T-Birds, and had his most productive season, compiling 32 Points. In 2020-2021, Wheeler played a combined 10 Games for the Bollnäs club, recording 3 Goals and 8 Assists.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented, 

Joseph had a fantastic experience living in Sweden and playing hockey, this past year. We are thrilled that he will continue that journey, and hopefully, have the opportunity to play a full season, this year. Bollnäs did a wonderful job of welcoming Joseph into their club and community, and we are honored to continue our relationship with their organization.
