by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce American forward, Alex Corvi, has signed with Les Lynx de Valence in FranceDivision II! The 5'10, 178-pound left shot winger played the 2019-2020 season with the Albatros de Brest in France Division I. Corvi is originally from Barrington, Rhode Island and was born October 5, 1994. Prior to starting his professional career, Corvi played for Nazareth College in NCAA Division III

Corvi played for Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, prior to playing two years of junior hockey in the Eastern Hockey League, for the Walpole Express. This led him to Nazareth College, in Rochester, New York, where he was a four-year letter-winner for the Golden Flyers. In his Senior year, Corvi finished with 15 Points, and was 3rd on the team in Points-Per-Game. Corvi then joined one of his former teammates in France Division I, signing with the Brest Albatros. In his rookie pro season, Corvi accumulated 5 Goals and 4 Assists, and featured in 3 Playoff Games. The 26 year-old is now eyeing his return to Europe, after a year off due to COVID-19.

Valence is located between Lyon and Marseille in Southern France. The city has over 65,000 residents. The Lynx play there home games at the Patinoire du Polygone Valence.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

Alex was unable to return to Europe in 2020-2021, after his rookie season with Albatros Brest, in France. Alex made his European debut after a strong Senior season at Nazareth College, and we expect him to have a big impact with Valence. We are very happy to have helped get Alex back to France, where he wanted to play all along. We look forward to continuing our relationships with both Alex and Les Lynx, in the future.
