IHM Client Andrey Rychagov Signs With Chamonix
International Hockey Management is proud to announce that client, Andrey Rychagov, has signed with Les Pionniers de Chamonix-Mont Blanc in France’s Ligue Magnus. The 5’11, 203-pound Russian center hails from Saint Petersburg, and has 123 KHL (formerly the Russian Super League) games under his belt. Rychagov spent last season with Rubin Tyumen in the VHL.
The Samara, Russia-born 37 year-old is a nine-time points-per-game leader for his clubs (including 2019-2020), a two-time VHL Champion, a former captain, and a 700+ game veteran of the VHL, Russia’s second pro league. He has compiled 579 career points at the professional level. The left shot pivot will now be counted on to be a leader and top producer in France’s highest professional league.
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is a world-renowned ski and travel destination in the Alps range. Mont Blanc is the highest summit in the Alps, and the picturesque town is home to just under 10,000 people. Last season, the Chamonix Pionniers were in the 8th, and final, Ligue Magnus playoff spot, when the season was cancelled. The club has 30 French Championship titles, 3 French Cup wins, and a history spanning over 100+ years.

Rychagov gleamed,
“I am very happy to join the SYNERGLACE Ligue Magnus. Of course, I hope to bring my experience to the group. I have heard a lot of great things from friends who have known Ligue Magnus, and encouraged me to join the French Championship. Chamonix is a special place in the world, and it is a real honor for me to be able to play for the most successful club in the country. It is a great challenge to be part of this new adventure. I have had a wonderful and long career in Russia, and I continue to perform, which has motivated me to take on a new career challenge. I am currently training very hard in Russia to arrive perfectly ready to do battle for a new season. I can't wait to discover it all!"
