IHM Client Bailey Conger Signs With ECHL's Utah Grizzlies

International Hockey Management is proud to announce that client, Bailey Conger, has signed with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. The former Colorado College Tiger and Providence College Friar jumped onto the scene with 2 Assists and a +3 Rating in his opening weekend with the Grizzlies. The 6’1, 190-pound right shot center is completing his Master’s Degree at UMass Boston, where he was named the New England Hockey Conference’s Player of the Week with a 3G-2A debut weekend, prior to signing with Utah. Conger is originally from Boise, Idaho, and was born May 1, 1997.

Conger's final season at two-time NCAA National Champion Colorado College finished with a stat line of 27GP-4G-7A-11PTS. The Tigers now play in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, along with Denver University, University of Miami-Ohio, University of Minnesota-Duluth, University of Nebraska-Omaha, University of North Dakota, St.Cloud State University, and Western Michigan University. From 2016-2019, one of the aforementioned teams won the NCAA National Championship. In total, Conger finished his NCAA D-I career with 51GP-5G-11A-16PTS. Conger originally earned a scholarship to attend Providence College, where he spent the 2017-2018 season, playing in Hockey East.

Prior to his NCAA career, Conger was a top contributor for the Waterloo Blackhawks during the 2016-2017 United States Hockey League Tier-I Junior A season. Waterloo featured six players drafted to the NHL, and Conger was the team's fourth leading scorer. He led the team in Clark Cup Playoff scoring, with 8 Points in 8 Games. In the regular season, he tallied 42 Points in 59 Games. Conger played 12 USHL games prior to his breakout season, and was a two-year standout at Cushing Academy, a prep school in Northern Massachusetts.
