IHM Client Edvin Jarmstad Signs With GötaTraneberg
International Hockey Management is proud to announce that client, Edvin Jarmstad, has signed with Göta/Traneberg in HockeyTvåan (Sweden’s Division II). The right shot forward was born August 19, 2000. At 5’10, 201 pounds, the Stockholm native is familiar with the club, with whom he split time between the J20 and A-lag teams, a season ago.
Prior to scoring 25 Points in 23 Games for the Göta/Traneberg J20 Elit team, in addition to 6 Points in 21 Games for the senior team. Jarmstad previously played three seasons for the Almtuna IS club. As a youth, Jarmstad played in the Djurgårdens IF development program.
Last season, Göta/Traneberg finished 3rd in HockeyTvåan Östra A, with a record of 7-3-4. Their 28 points qualified them for competition in Alltvåan Östra, where their performance dipped, finishing with a 3-14-4 record, over the second half of the season. Göta/Traneberg plays in Bromma, just west of downtown Stockholm.
International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,
“Edvin had the intention of playing in the US, this season, but due to the pandemic, he considered options at home, as well. We are happy to see Edvin earn a spot on the A-lag team, for the upcoming season. Edvin will be a hard-working young player for the club, and is looking to carve-out a role at the senior level.”
