by Chris White

A huge congrats to International Hockey Management client, Isak Johansson, who has been named to the 2020 National Collegiate Development Conference All-Star Game!  The 2000-born goaltender from Märsta, Sweden is currently playing for the NCDC's Utica Jr Comets. The All-Star Game will be held at Merrimack College, in North Andover, Massachusetts, on Monday, January 20. The game is schedule for 12:30pm, Eastern Standard Time.

Johansson has been the backbone for the Jr Comets, who are currently sitting outside the NCDC playoff picture, in 10th place. The big Swede has backstopped 12 of the team's 14 wins (14-14-3, 31 Points). His Saves (751) and Minutes Played (1339) are both 2nd in the league. He sports a Goals Against Average of 2.60 and Save Percentage of .928, through the first half. He is coming off a 4-2 victory over the reigning champion Boston Jr. Bruins, on January 4, his first start after the holiday break. Johansson was named NCDC Goaltender of the Week, in early November, and then followed it up with Goaltender of the Month honors.

This honor includes a process of nomination and selection, showing just how the rest of the league views Johansson's performance, thus far. NCAA Division-I clubs will be out in droves, for this event. Tune in live at HockeyTV.com to watch Isak and the rest of the NCDC's 2020 All-Stars!

Best of luck to Isak, and keep up the hard work!
