International Hockey Management is proud to announce that long-time Swedish forward client, Isak Johansson, has signed with HockeyTvåan (Division 2) club, Hanhals IF. The left shot winger was born November 5, 2001 and has spent two of the last three seasons in the United States of America. Johansson stands 5'9 and weighs 176 pounds.  The 20 year-old will be making his A-lag / Senior team debut, this year.

Johansson is a Backen HC youth product, who has also spent two seasons with Partille HK. Both clubs are Gothenburg-area teams. Last season, Johansson played 21 Games for the Las Vegas Thunderbirds in the USPHL Premier. Johansson battled a lengthy injury to return for two playoff appearances, and notched 6 Points throughout the season. In the COVID-19-affected season, Johansson played briefly for the Partille HK J20 Division 1 team, recording 4 Points in 3 Games Played. In 2019-2020, he made his initial voyage to the US, suiting up for the El Paso Rhinos in the Western States Hockey League.

Hanhals IF is located in Kungsbacka, Sweden, just outside of Gothenburg on the west coast of Southern Sweden. Hanhals has not played in Division 2 since the 2015-2016 season, when they were promoted to HockeyEttan. Unfortunately, this past season, they were relegated from HockeyEttan. This created a great opportunity for Johansson to find a roster spot on a club that will be hungry to return to HockeyEttan. The Kings play their home games at Kungsbacka Ishall.
