IHM Client Liam Blomquist Signs With Ulricehamn
International Hockey Management is proud to announce that Swedish client, Liam Blomquist, has signed with Ulricehamns IF in Sweden's HockeyTvåan. The left shot winger stands 5'9 and weighs 194 pounds. Blomquist was born April 8, 2001 in Malmö, Sweden. Last season, he played for the Malmö Redhawks J20 Nationell (SuperElit) team.
Blomquist played 54 games in J20 Nationell over the past four seasons, all for Malmö Redhawks. In 2016-2017, Blomquist featured for the Skåne team at TV-pucken, and was among the top scorers for the Malmö Redhawks U16 Elit team. In 2018-2019, was again an important producer, as he record above a point-per-game for the J18 Elit squad. In the past two seasons, Blomquist has recorded 11 Points in 41 Games Played.
Ulricehamns IF played in the strong Södra (South) region of HockeyTvåan. Ulricehamn is located in Västra Götaland country, between Gothenburg and Jönköping. The team is coached by Niklas Nilsson, and plays their home games out of Lassarinken.

With international travel still a big question mark, we are happy to announce that Liam Blomquist will be playing for a strong Division 2 South club in his rookie season. IHM and UIF have a history that has been beneficial to both sides. We are happy to continue to build on that relationship, and excited to watch Liam take his game to the senior level. Liam plays a hard game and I expect the him to quickly adapt to his new surroundings.
