International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,
We are very pleased at how quickly this process was, from Philip joining the IHM Team to signing his first professional contract in HockeyAllsvenskan. This will be a great opportunity for Philip, and HC Vita Hästen will be looking to improve on their 2020-2021 campaign; especially in the defensive end of the rink. Philip is a very versatile defenseman with big game experience in both Sweden and the United States. As a 24 year-old, he is not your typical rookie age, so we expect him to step right in and contribute.
Philip added,
IHM has been professional from the start, helping me find a team for the next season. I have only heard good things about Vita Hästen, and I’m excited to be playing on a big ice sheet in Sweden again.
HC Vita Hästen Head Coach, Tony Zabel, noted,
Philip is a well-trained player with good positioning. His main qualities are a strong skating, his passing game, and a good understanding of the game.
CONGRATULATIONS, philip!
