IHM Client Scott Hector Signs With Hanhals

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce that client, Scott Hector, has signed with Hanhals IF in Sweden's HockeyEttan. The 6'0, 183-pound netminder was born July 31, 1997, and is from Mölndal, near Göteborg. It will be Hector's third season with the club's A-lag team (2018-2020).

In the COVID-19-shortened 2020-2021 HockeyTvåan season, Hector posted a 2.45 Goals Against Average in 3 appearances, with a 1-1 Record. Hector showed extremely well in pre-season competitions, and looked poised to have a strong year. In total, Hector has 24 appearances in HockeyEttan, and has also spent time with HockeyTvåan clubs Osby IK and Hovås HC. Hanhals IF started the season with just a 5-12-3-2 record, placing 10th in HockeyEttan Södra. After the holiday break, the team rebounded to a 9-6-3-0 record, good for 3rd in the series. The Kings play their home games at Kungsbacka Ishall.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

We are happy to have been able to find Scott an opportunity at the HockeyEttan level, this season. Scott will start the season at 24 years old, and will be in a familiar location. Scott is a competitor who wants to compete at the highest level possible, and in a year where HockeyEttan has contracted, it's very pleasing to see him in this position.
