IHM Client Sotnieks Signs With Dinamo Riga KHL

International Hockey Management is proud to announce that client, Kristaps Sotnieks, has re-signed with Dinamo Riga in the Kontinental Hockey League. The 6’0, 207-pound left shot defenseman is entering his 13th KHL season. With over 600 Games Played and 100 Points to his name, Sotnieks has also represented his home country of Latvia at two Olympic Games.

Sotnieks, born January 29, 1987, is a three-time IIHF World Championship Top-3 Player on Team. He also represented his nation at both the U20 and U18 IIHF World Junior Championships. In 2018-2019, Sotnieks led the entire KHL with 99 Blocked Shots. In addition to Dinamo Riga, Sotnieks also played two seasons for Lada Togliatti in the KHL. Kristaps has worn a letter three of the last five clubs seasons, in addition to earning the same honor three times for country, and was the captain of Dinamo Riga in 2015-2016.
