IHM Client William Stromback Signs With Surahammars

International Hockey Management is proud to announce that client, William Strömbäck, has signed with Surahammars IF in HockeyEttan (Sweden's Division 1). The Kiruna native was born December 12, 1998, and can play center or wing. He stands 5’9, weighs 165 pounds, and is a left shot. Last year, he played for Kiruna AIF, in his hometown.

The twenty-one year old from Northern Sweden had a stat line of 30GP-5G-5A-10PTS, last year. He also was called-upon to play 7 Games for the J20 team, scoring 9 Points. Strömbäck now has his first full season of pro hockey under his belt, after having played split seasons the prior to seasons. He also played 23 Games for the Long Beach Bombers in the Tier-II Junior A Western States Hockey League, registering 15 Points. In total, Strömbäck put up 74 Points in 62 career J20 Elit Games.

Surahammars IF's General Manager, Jörgen Mähler, commented,

"We’re excited about having William here. His attitude have been great from the start, and I can tell that he’s a great person. It’s going to be fun to follow William, as he develops for us in Surahammar."

International Hockey Management Scandinavian Regional Director, Joel Larsson, added,

”William and I have had daily communication since day one. He’s been patient and taking the advice, from our part. Surahammar is a great club for William to develop in. William is a versatile player, in terms of his ability to play multiple positions, and produce for his team in a number of ways. So, I think the Blue Hammers are going to be pleased with his contribution, this year. It’s gonna be awesome to watch him this upcoming season.”
