IHM Welcomes Alps Regional Director Diego Glück

International Hockey Management is proud to announce their new Alps Regional Director, from Ortisei Val Gardena, Italy, Diego Glück. Glück is an active three-year veteran of the Alps Hockey League with Gherdëina, and has featured for the Italian National Men's Team as well as their U18 & U20 World Junior Championship teams. This season, Glück also made his ICEHL debut with HC Bolzano. In 2018-2019, he spent a year playing junior hockey in the United States, where he was named Captain of the Long Beach Bombers.
Glück will be responsible for the Alps region, including facilitating communication between IHM and clubs in Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, etc. Glück speaks four languages, including English, Italian, and German. His experience playing for the national team, abroad, and at the professional level will help IHM with a wide range of client services in Southern Europe. Glück is currently studying mechanical engineering at University of Bolzano.
Diego said,
I am very excited to join the IHM team! I think it will be something new for me that will help grow me as a person and also give me a greater insight into the world of hockey; which is, and always has been, my greatest passion. I'll try to do my best for the IHM team and help the firm in its growth.

I first met Diego in Brno, Czech Republic in 2018. He and his father drove 8 hours to attend a camp I was running for our junior club. He played a man's game and was incredibly mature for his age. When he arrived to the US, we elected him our team captain, and he was a pleasure to be around. After several years playing professionally, we are thrilled to have him join IHM and help us expand our reach in the Alps region. His ability to speak several languages, in combination with his knowledge of the region's leagues, teams, staff members, and players, will be a huge asset to what we are doing at IHM. With Joel Larsson handling our Scandinavian region, and Diego spearheading our Alps region, I think we are building something special for our current and future clients.
