International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of American forward, CJ Hayes. The Margate, Florida native is a 5’9, 180-pound right shot winger. Last year, Hayes spent the majority of the season with the Columbus River Dragons in the Federal Prospects Hockey League.

Hayes finished third in scoring for Columbus, recording a stat line of 44GP-24G-23A-47PTS. His 23 Goals led the team. He also was called up by the Huntsville Havoc, of the Southern Professional Hockey League; his second stint in the SPHL, where has played a total of 26 Games. Hayes is a former member of the Lake Superior State University NCAA Division-I Men's Ice Hockey team. He committed to LSSU after two seasons in the United States Hockey League, with the Fargo Force. Prior, Hayes was a Chicago Mission and Team Illinois player. In 2017-2018, Hayes won the FPHL Championship as a member of the Watertown Wolves.

Former Fargo Force USHL Head Coach, and current President of the Las Vegas Thunderbirds USPHL-Premier team, John Marks, noted,

“First, CJ is a great young man. He works hard, and is a player that is responsible at both ends of the ice. He is very quick, skilled, and has a high compete level. He’s capable of fitting with whomever he’s lined up with."

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

“CJ is a skilled player that should thrive on the bigger European ice sheets. He’s quick and attacks dangerous areas of the rink. He has a knack for highlight reel finishes, and brings a creative approach to the offensive side of the game. Given the current climate in North America, we are excited to help CJ explore alternatives for the upcoming season.”

WELCOME TO THE IHM TEAM, CJ!
