International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

Nick is a speedy, skilled right shot that has a knack for scoring goals. His game is well-suited for the European ice, and he has proven himself as a lethal finisher in the German league. Nick came to us very late in the off-season, but our intention is to see him continue to flourish overseas this year.
