by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of Canadian forward, Logan Mick. The Armstrong, British Columbia native is 24 years old, standing 5'11 and weighing 185 pounds. The left shot winger played for Åmåls SK, last season, in Sweden's HockeyTvåan (Division 2).

Mick's rookie season overseas came off three seasons at the collegiate level. In 2018-2019, Mick suited up for the University of Lethbridge, in Canada's top university league, USports. The two seasons prior, he was at Quinnipiac University, in Connecticut, competing in the ECAC of NCAA Division-I. Mick's developmental roots include stops with the Brooks Bandits (Alberta Junior Hockey League), and the Langley Rivermen, Salmon Arm Sivlerbacks, and Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League. Prior to his lengthy Junior A career, Mick attended Pursuit of Excellence Prep Academy.

Last season, Mick accumulated a stat line of 31GP-28G-37A-65PTS for Åmåls. His points total paced the HockeyTvåan Västra region, while placing him 7th in the country in scoring. Mick is now looking to climb the European hockey ladder, by seeking opportunities at a higher level. Logan's father, Troy, is a long-time General Manager and Head Coach, with a long tenure in the BCHL, a few seasons in the WHL, and now, with the Philadelphia Hockey Club in the NCDC.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, noted,

"Logan reached out to IHM late in the off-season, hoping to find an opportunity. He proved himself as a top scorer, last year, while making the necessary adjustments to succeed in European hockey. He has been training hard in the US, and is eager to make his way back overseas to embark on his second season of professional hockey. We are excited help Logan continue to make his way through the ranks."
