IHM Welcomes Forward Hugh Quinn

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of American-Swedish forward, Hugh Levenius Quinn, of Malungs IF in Sweden's HockeyEttan. The 6'2, 185-pound left shot center can also play the wing, and will be entering his second season of senior hockey. Quinn was born on November 17, 1999 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, but is a dual-citizen.

Prior to his senior debut with Malungs IF, Quinn had a successful career in the North American Hockey League, Tier-II Junior A. Quinn spent time with four clubs over the course of three seasons. His stops included: Philadelphia, Topeka, Springfield, and Austin. Quinn's best season came in 2018-2019, when he was the fourth-leading forward scorer on the Topeka Pilots, with 30 Points. In his NAHL career, Quinn recorded 52 Points in 153 Games Played. As a youth, Quinn played for Mora IK. This past season, Quinn accumulated 12 Points and was an even-rating on a relegated Malungs IF squad.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

Hugh's production in his rookie season is not indicative of the level of talent and determination this young player has. I think as he continues to develop and make adjustments at the senior level, we will see him rise up the ladder. He has the speed, finish, versatility, vision, and work ethic to become a very solid pro. We are excited to lend him a hand for the upcoming season, as he is a fairly unknown quantity that we feel has huge upside.

WELCOME TO THE IHM TEAM, hugh!
