IHM Welcomes Forward Markus Odermatt
International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of forward, Markus Odermatt, of Philadelphia Hockey Club. The 5'8, 170-pound center/winger is a left shot and was born April 5, 2000. Odermatt was born in London, England, and carries Japanese and Swiss citizenship. Markus has four brothers and one sister that play ice hockey.
Last season, Odermatt recorded a stat line of 43GP-19G-35A-54PTS for the Philadelphia Hockey Club in the USPHL Premier. His 54 Points led the team, as did his 35 Assists. The year prior, Markus was tied for the team lead with 49 Points. Odermatt attended Canadian International Hockey Academy, in Rockland, Ontario, from 2014-2018.

Markus is a skilled young forward looking to break into the senior game. As a Swiss citizen, his primary target is to play in Switzerland, where his sister plays for the Lugano Ladies team. Markus was recommended to us by Adam Bartholomay, of Philadelphia HC, which carried significant weight when we considered bringing Markus into the IHM Team. We are excited to open some doors for Markus as he gets his feet wet at the next level.
