IHM Welcomes Forward Thomas Odermatt

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of forward, Thomas Odermatt, of Philadelphia Hockey Club. The 5'7, 165-pound center/winger is a left shot and was born June 10, 2001. Odermatt was born in Okinawa, Japan, and also maintains Swiss citizenship. Thomas is the younger brother of recently-signed Markus Odermatt.

Last season, Odermatt recorded a stat line of 39GP-21G-22A-43PTS for the Philadelphia Hockey Club in the USPHL Premier. His 21 Goals led the team, and his 43 Points trailed only brother Markus. The year prior, Thomas was tied for the team lead with 49 Points. Odermatt attended Canadian International Hockey Academy, in Rockland, Ontario, from 2015-2019.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

Despite Thomas having another year of junior hockey eligibility in North America, he is looking to explore senior options in Europe, specifically, Switzerland. Thomas has scored 53 goals the last two seasons, and plays with some grit. He's obviously a young player for the next level, but his development is what is most important, at this stage. We look forward to helping Thomas as he continues to progress in his career.
