IHM Welcomes NCAA Forward Maxime Danis

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of Canadian forward, Maxime Danis, of New England College NCAA D-III. The Waterloo, Quebec native stands 6’1, and weighs 185 pounds. Danis was born August 18, 1997, and can play wing or center. The bilingual, left shot Danis is looking to continue his hockey career at the professional level in Europe.

Danis was a four-time Dean’s List honoree at New England College, including being named to the 2018-2019 New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team. Max previously attended Hebron Academy (US-Prep), where he was 3rd on the team in Goals, 4th in Points, and was a two-time Dean’s List honoree. In his final collegiate season, his NEC Pilgrims Men’s Hockey Team went to the NEHC Semi-Finals, before losing to Hobart College.

Max’s Head Coach at New England College, Tom Carroll, commented,

"Max is a good kid and an excellent athlete. He competed at the collegiate level in three sports. He was also a very good teammate during his four years at NEC.  He is a hardworking player that skates very well, has good speed, is strong on his skates, and competes.  We used him at all positions, and he was willing to do anything to help the team.  He can handle the puck and has a good shot.”

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, added,

"Max is a straight-line type of player that tries to create and win small battles, all over the ice. He is a team-first guy that is no fun to play against. He has a versatile game, and experience at several positions. He’s looking for a fresh start and a new opportunity, and we’re eager to assist him in his search for a team at the next level."

WELCOME TO THE IHM TEAM, MAXIME!
