IHM Welcomes NCAA Forward Ryan Meade

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of American forward, Ryan Meade. The September 10, 1997 birth date winger had his NCAA Division III career culminated with his most productive season, yet, for Stonehill College. The 5'10, 180lb right shot went out on a high note, registering a stat line of: 28GP-8G-9A-17Pts. Meade is from Tewksbury, Massachussetts, and is looking to continue his career at the European professional level.

Meade' Stonehill College Skyhawks Men's Ice Hockey Team were crowned the 2019-2020 Northeast-10 Conference Champions, with a 3-1 defeat of Franklin Pearce. Meade's playoff performance garnered him a spot on the Northeast-10 Conference All-Tournament Team. He finished his collegiate career with a stat line of: 101GP-17G-24A-41Pts. Ryan not only took care of business on the ice, but he was also a 4-time Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient, as well as a 2-time Dean's List honoree. Prior to Stonehill College, Meade led Tilton School's prep team in Assists (23) and was 2nd in Points (36), while earning a spot on the New England Prep School Hockey Coaches Association All-State Team.

Stonehill College's Head Coach, Dave Borges, commented,

Ryan is a strong physical forward who played an integral part in our success during the regular season, and in our team's 2020 NE10 Tournament Championship. Ryan played his off-wing on our first line, and provided a consistent 200-foot effort, every night. I was proud to see Ryan’s hard work pay off during his senior year, in which he scored the game winning OT goal that propelled the Skyhawks to the NE10 Finals, and consummated with Ryan being named to the NE10 All-Tournament Team, and our team winning the NE10 Tournament Championship.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, added,

Ryan had a sparkling finish to his NCAA career, and hopefully, that is an indication of good things to come. He has a wonderful sense in the offensive zone. He is great at finding soft spots, and being available. He has a good finishing touch, and is creative in a playmaking sense. He has a well-rounded game, and excels on both sides of special teams. We're excited to help Ryan take this next step in his hockey career.

Welcome to the ihm team, ryan!
