IHM Welcomes Swedish Defenseman William Cederstam

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to announce the signing of Swedish defenseman, William Cederstam. The 6’1, 180-pound left shot split time in Sweden’s HockeyEttan and HockeyTvåan, last year. He was born June 26, 1998, and is looking to become an NCAA student-athlete.

The Örnsköldsvik native had 11 Points in 16 Games Played for LN91 and Kramfors-Alliansen, this past season. Cederstam departed Hammarö for the Long Beach Bombers, in December of 2018, his first taste of North American hockey. Since joining IHM, he has garnered interest from a handful of NCAA programs, and just recently received his first acceptance letter.

Cederstam’s former defensive coach in Long Beach, Brennan Fobel, commented,

“William is a class act and a real player. It was a pleasure mentoring him and teaching him some tricks of the trade.”

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, added,

“William is a do-it-all type of defenseman. He can play physical, he can skate or move the puck quickly out of the defensive zone, he can shut down top opponents, and he can run a power play. He’s a great teammate and he puts his club’s success ahead of his own. We were very excited for William to choose IHM to help guide him through the college process, and we are eager to see where he ends up deciding to attend. In any case, whomever the school and team is, they’ll be getting a high-quality person and player.”

WELCOME TO THE IHM TEAM, WILLIAM!
