IHM Welcomes Swedish Forward Anton Egle

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to welcome Swedish forward, Anton Egle, of HC Vita Hästen J20, to the IHM team. The 6'1, 176 pound winger is a left shot and was born September 29, 2002. Anton is a Trelleborgs IF youth product, and interested in exploring the US junior route.

In the COVID-19-shortened 2020-2021 season, Egle got off to a hot start with 2G-2A in his first 4 Games Played. The season prior, he was a very productive contributor for both Borås HC's J18 Elit (25GP-8G-6A-14PTS) and J20 Elit (15GP-6G-4A-10PTS) teams. He also had the honor of making his A-lag debut, as he played a single game for Borås' HockeyEttan squad. Egle has also played for clubs IK Pantern where he led their U16 team in Goals-Per-Game and Points-Per-Game, Malmö Redhawks, and his parent club, Trelleborgs IF.

We are very excited to help Anton realize his goal of going overseas and continuing to develop his skills with the hope of progressing up the hockey ladder. These are difficult times, so our expertise and planning becomes doubly important. In this case, we feel Anton is not only a skilled scorer with good size, but he plays the game hard and his style will translate very well to the North American game. He has good potential with two years of junior eligibility remaining. We look forward to working with Anton and his family throughout this entire process.
