IHM Welcomes Swedish Forward David Chronvall

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to welcome Swedish forward, David Chronvall, to the IHM Team! The Växjö, Sweden native stands 5'10, weighing 172 pounds, and is a right shot. Chronvall is a July 19, 2001-born center who was playing for IFTroja-Ljungby J20 Elit, this season. He is also a long-time product of the Växjö Lakers Hockey Club.

Chronvall has been a productive scorer for many years, leading back to his TV-pucken performance with SIF-laget, when he led the team with 4 Points in 5 Games Played. The same season, 2016-2017, he was the Växjö Lakers' U16 Elit team's Top Scorer with 39 Points in 26 Games Played (2 Points ahead of the Detroit Red Wings' 4th overall pick in 2020, Lucas Raymond of Frölunda HC). The following season, he maintained the same position for the J18 Elit team, recording a 26-Point campaign. He followed that up with a 31-Point season, including 9 Points in J18 Allsvenskan qualifying, in 2018-2019. He also made his J20 SuperElit debut, that year. Last season, Chronvall split his time between Växjö Lakers and Karlskrona HK, at the J20 SuperElit level. This year, he got off to a blazing start with IF Troja-Ljungby J20, scoring 9 Points in his first 4 Games Played, but unfortunately, the season was put on hold.

International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

"David has a proven record of being a legitimate point producer at every level, since the age of 15. As was the case with many players around the world, it was a difficult year for David, but we are excited about his future. He has a great opportunity to prove himself at the senior level in the upcoming season. He has a good pedigree with some high-level clubs, to go with his scoring résumé. We look forward to working with David as he continues to climb the ladder in his career."
