IHM Welcomes Swedish Forward Liam Blomquist

International Hockey Management is proud to welcome Swedish forward, Liam Blomquist, to the IHM Team! The 5'9, 194-pound left shot forward played for Malmö Redhawks J20 Nationell, this past season. Blomquist was born April 8, 2001, in southwestern Sweden. As a 2001, Blomquist will be exploring both US Junior options and European Senior.


Blomquist has been a mainstay in the Malmö Redhawks organization, and was a top scorer at both the U16 and J18 levels. Recently, he has transitioned his game into more of a power forward role. In 2016-2017, Blomquist represented his region of Skåne in the famed TV-pucken tournament for the country's top fifteen year old players. Blomquist played TVP with another IHM client, Robin Ericsson. In the past three seasons, Blomquist has gained valuable experience at the top level (J20 SuperElit/Nationell), recording over 50 Games Played and 13 Points.


International Hockey Management President, Chris White, commented,

Liam has played at the highest possible level in Sweden for several years, and has shown an ability to contribute in a variety of ways. He is a physically strong player with a high level of competitiveness. We think Liam's game will translate very well to North American hockey, if he chooses that path. We're happy to assist Liam explore his options at this crucial point in his development and career.
