IHM Welcomes Swedish Forward Ludvig Öhlund

by Chris White

International Hockey Management is proud to welcome Swedish forward, Ludvig Öhlund, to the IHM Team! The sixteen year-old left shot played for Piteå HC's J18 team, last season. The Skellefteå native stands 5'7 and weighs 138 pounds. Öhlund will turn seventeen on May 11. Ludvig has recently agreed to play for Clemensnäs HC J18, this year.

Öhlund was raised in the Skellefteå AIK organization, where he played U16 Elit. The same year, Öhlund also represented his home region of Västerbotten at the famed Swedish TV-pucken tournament. Ludvig recorded a stat line of 2G-3A in 5 Games Played. In the pandemic-shortened season, Öhlund posted a point-per-game pace, with 7 Points in 7 Games Played.

International Hockey Management Scandinavian Regional Director, Joel Larsson, commented,

Ludvig is a creative forward that works hard and has great ambitions in hockey. He also proved himself against the top 2004 players in Sweden, when he finished 3rd in scoring for the highly-ranked Västerbotten team in TV-Pucken. Ludvig has great experience from some of the best developmental organizations in Sweden. We’re excited for him to take a bigger role in his new club, Clemensnäs HC.

WELCOME TO THE IHM TEAM, Ludvig!
